During her first year, she was inducted into the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society and made Dean’s List.
This summer she interned with Planned Parenthood as a Strategic Partners Intern. Her position focused on Black and Latino Community Engagement. She also began her Young People For fellowship. Young People For is a leadership development program for college-aged folks, that aims to identify, engage, and empower young people to create positive change in our communities. Additionally, she will be attending a conference to start thinking about the social justice project.
In 2021 – just graduated early from Spelman College, next year I am heading to Columbia University for my Master’s in Nonprofit Management in their HBCU Fellowship Program.
GapBuster has enabled me to understand the workings of the nonprofit world. After working with GapBuster, I decided that this is the work I want to continue to do as a career, and I am headed to Columbia University for a Master’s in Nonprofit Management.
