“I first heard about GapBuster, Inc. when I was a sophomore in high school. GapBuster, Inc. sponsored the first National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) Jr branch in my school. I joined NSBE and GapBuster, Inc. that year and have worked with them until my high school graduation. As a member of GapBuster, Inc., sponsored NSBE group, I have had the opportunity to meet some very motivated, intelligent people as well as the opportunity to volunteer in the community. These experiences helped me develop leadership skills and instilled in me a passion and commitment for community building and empowerment. I took these values with me to Princeton University where I received my B.S.E in 2019.
Currently, I work as a Legal Assistant and plan to attend law school and I look forward to working with Gapbuster and giving back. As an alumnus, I look forward to mentoring high school students in GapBuster, Inc. as they go through the college application and transition process.”
