I first heard about GapBuster through my involvement with LULAC. As the State Director for Maryland, Dr. Yvette Butler worked closely with us. I saw the amazing work that was being done by the organization and was quickly drawn to help.

Daniela Velasquez is a life-long member of Gapbuster, Inc. Since joining in the sixth grade, her trip to South Africa as a HIV/AIDS peer educator sparked her interest in biology and the public health sector.
