ALUMNI
I am currently working as Research Assistant at Burke Neurological Institute. My work focuses on creating standardized vision measurements using a computer screen and eye tracker.
From the moment I accidentally walked into the first GapBuster/NSBE meeting, at Wheaton high school, I was inspired and motivated by the community and mentorship provided. The level of exposure I was able to get to colleges, engineering pitch, and design competitions. As a high school student, I found GapBuster to be the only place where I can develop my leadership skills and gain confidence in my technical knowledge by applying it.
“Overall I would say it had the greatest impact in motivating me to pursue a degree in Engineering and reassured me that I could succeed in it.”
