Najma spent her last semester as a travel abroad student in Ghana where she attended the University of Ghana in Legon, Accra. During her time in Ghana, she spearheaded a STEM program focusing on middle school girls. She was highlighted for her accomplishments. She also participated in training GapBuster Ghana staff as the first-year program kicked-off. Najma will start her junior year at the University of Michigan where she will focus on her engineer major.
